Find and join friendly pickleball leagues and build an OPL Rating

MYOPL was designed to connect friendly recurring open play with communication, attendance, confirmed results, and a separate OPL Rating for social-sport development. Players can browse ordinary OPLs, join a community, and choose whether to record eligible matches.

The problem the release addressed

Most everyday matches happen outside a tournament. The release argued that those players still need a dependable way to find a recurring community, know when people plan to attend, communicate, and understand progress without converting every session into formal competition.

The current path

  1. Open OPLs in MYOPL.
  2. Choose Browse and search for an Open Play League.
  3. Open its information before joining.
  4. Join the OPL to keep its conversation in My OPLs.
  5. Respond to Events and communicate with the community.
  6. Record completed results only when the participants want them included.

Keep the social purpose visible

Joining an OPL does not require every game to be recorded. Attendance, conversation, friendship, practice, and reliable local information remain useful even when a player is not pursuing a rating.
