OPL Ratings

Track your progress without turning Thursday night into a tournament.

Some of the best games you play will never be recorded—and that is exactly how it should be. MYOPL only measures the matches you explicitly choose to log, and it never blurs the line between a casual session and sanctioned tournament play.

Three Contexts. Three Clear Purposes.

  • Unrecorded Play: Practice, warmups, and purely social games that belong entirely to the court.
  • Confirmed Social Matches: Verified games that build your personal progress and refine your day-to-day rating.
  • Tournament Play: Sanctioned competition governed by formal bracket rules and isolated tournament ratings.

Community Guidelines for Match Logging

  • Establish expectations early: Agree with other players before the match whether the score will be recorded.
  • Respect consensus: Never pressure an opponent or partner to confirm a disputed score.
  • Matchmake responsibly: Use ratings to create balanced, enjoyable games—never to gatekeep court access.
  • Keep casual play casual: Leave room for games played purely for fun, with zero scorekeeping required.
