A standing game, without turning it into a tournament.
An Open Play League is the group that keeps showing up. It has a conversation, a schedule, real results, and — if the group wants it — a leaderboard. What it is not is a bracket.
What holds an OPL together
- A running conversation for the whole group.
- Events with real time slots people actually respond to.
- Match results, recorded from the same chat.
- A Seeded Leaderboard, built from the confirmed games people chose to record.
Not the same as a regional rating
A regional OPL rating entry is a snapshot of ratings in an area — you cannot join it or chat in it. An actual OPL is a group you join, talk in, and show up for.
Finding one
- Open OPLs and choose Browse.
- Search by name or location.
- Take a look at what you find.
- Join.
- Head to My OPLs whenever you want the conversation or the next Event.
