Policy Center

Share only content you have the right to use.

You remain responsible for the messages, images, video, audio, profile information, and community content you provide. Upload or share content only when you created it or have the permission and rights needed to use it on MYOPL.

Your content and the MYOPL service

The Terms and Conditions describe ownership of member content and the license needed for MYOPL to host, process, display, distribute, and operate that content as part of the service. This page does not replace or change that legal grant.

Before posting, consider every protected element in the content, including photographs, video, recordings, artwork, logos, text, broadcasts, music, and another person's name, image, or voice.

Content you may share

  • Original content you created and have not assigned exclusively to someone else.
  • Content whose rights holder gave you permission broad enough for the way it will appear and be used on MYOPL.
  • Content you are otherwise legally entitled to use, while complying with any required attribution, limits, or other conditions.
  • Accurate links or short references that do not copy protected material beyond what you are permitted to use.

Music and recorded audio

Music audible in a video or recording can be protected even when it was playing in the background. Permission for a venue, streaming account, or personal listening does not necessarily include permission to publish that music in member content.

MYOPL does not currently offer a public licensed music library or music-clearance service. If content includes music or another recording, you are responsible for having the rights needed to share it. MYOPL may restrict or remove content after a rights review.

Request review of content

  1. Open Contact MYOPL and identify that your request concerns copyright or content rights.
  2. Provide your name, a reliable contact method, and your relationship to the rights holder.
  3. Identify the copyrighted work or other protected content and explain the rights you believe are affected.
  4. Provide the exact MYOPL account, group, entity, message, media item, or link where the material appears.
  5. Provide a factual explanation and supporting information showing why you are authorized to request review.

Review and possible outcomes

MYOPL may request more information, limit access to the reported content while it is reviewed, remove or restore content, restrict related features, or take account action where appropriate. The Terms and Conditions permit account restrictions for repeated intellectual-property infringement.

A person whose content is affected may contact Support with relevant permission, ownership, license, identification, or mistake information. The current product does not provide a universal public case tracker for content-rights reviews.
