1. Information We Collect and How We Use It
We collect information that you provide, information generated when you use the Services, and limited information from devices and service providers. We use it to operate MYOPL, authenticate accounts, connect players and organizations, deliver communications, record competition and ratings, process purchases, personalize and improve the Services, provide support, prevent abuse, maintain security and backups, and comply with legal obligations. Some information must be transmitted to our systems or service providers even when it is retained only long enough to complete your request.
- Account and Profile Information: When you register or update your profile, we may collect your name, username, email address, phone number, date of birth, profile photo, general location or address, sport and play preferences, biography, and other information you choose to provide. Your display name, profile photo, biography, ratings, and other profile fields may be visible to other users according to the applicable feature and your privacy settings. Contact us if you believe someone created an unauthorized account using your information.
- User Content and Social Activity: Depending on the feature and audience you select, MYOPL may process messages, photos, videos, match scores, ratings, reviews, comments, posts, reactions, follows, event participation, organization memberships, venue edits, and other content or social activity. Content posted to a public profile, feed, court, club, league, event, or other public area may be viewed and reshared by others. Direct messages and restricted-group content are delivered only to their intended participants, subject to moderation, safety, legal, and account-administration requirements described in this policy.
- Contacts: If you grant contacts permission, we process selected contact names and phone numbers to help you identify people already using MYOPL and send invitations or connection requests. Contact data is protected in transit and at rest, is not used for advertising, and is not shared with third parties for their independent marketing. You can revoke contacts permission through your device settings.
- Communications: We store and process direct messages, group messages, support requests, emails, push-notification information, and transactional communications so we can deliver them, synchronize them across devices, provide support, and enforce our rules. Administrative, security, transactional, and legal notices cannot always be disabled. If SMS is used, we may process the phone number, delivery status, carrier information, and time of the communication; carrier charges may apply.
- Artificial Intelligence Features: When you intentionally use OPL Intelligence or another AI-assisted feature, the prompt, content you submit, and relevant MYOPL sport, rulebook, or conversation context may be sent to our configured AI service provider to generate a response. Do not submit sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request. AI interactions may also be processed for safety, abuse prevention, service operation, and usage accounting. We do not use private conversations as AI context unless the feature and your action call for that content to be processed.
- Purchases and Subscriptions: When you purchase a subscription or other paid feature, Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Stripe, or another disclosed payment provider processes the payment credentials. MYOPL receives transaction identifiers, product and entitlement information, purchase status, expiration information, and limited account details needed to provide the purchase, prevent duplicate credits, support restoration, and maintain financial and security records. MYOPL does not receive your complete Apple or Google payment-card number.
- Usage, Device, and Diagnostic Information: We may process pages or screens viewed, searches, feature interactions, dates and times, referring URLs, IP address, browser and device type, operating system, app version, language, device or installation identifiers, network status, crash information, and performance diagnostics. We use this information for authentication, analytics, reliability, fraud prevention, security, and product improvement. Analytics and crash-reporting providers process information only to provide services to MYOPL under their applicable terms and our instructions.
- Competition and Rating Information: We process matches, scores, teammates, opponents, ratings, reliability measurements, event participation, and related history to calculate and preserve competitive results. Because one participant's results affect others, certain match and rating records may be retained or anonymized after an account is deleted.
- Location Data: We collect your precise GPS location (when the app is in use and you have granted permission) solely to sort nearby people, courts, clubs, and leagues so the most relevant results appear first, and to save your general location to your profile to improve future search results. Location access is "While Using the App" only — we do not track your location in the background. You can manage or revoke this permission at any time through your device's Settings.
- Organizations and Professional Information: If you create, claim, administer, or represent a court, club, league, business, or other organization, we process the organization details, your role and permissions, public contact information, and changes or requests you submit. Organization administrators may see information needed to manage their MYOPL community, events, and memberships.
- Sensitive Information You Choose to Provide: Precise location, private communications, contacts, date of birth, and information voluntarily included in content may be sensitive. Please do not post sensitive information publicly unless you intend others to see it. Device permissions and MYOPL privacy controls can be used to limit applicable collection and visibility.
2. Cookies
We and service providers acting for us may use cookies, local storage, pixels, tags, scripts, software-development kits, and similar technologies (collectively, "Cookies") to keep you signed in, remember preferences, protect the Services, measure performance, and understand usage. Cookies may contain session or device identifiers and may process information such as browser type, IP address, referring page, feature interactions, and date and time of use. Some Cookies remain until they expire or are deleted, while others last only for a session.
The purposes for which we use Cookies in MYOPL include:
You can manage Cookies through your browser, device, or MYOPL settings where available. Blocking required Cookies may prevent authentication, security, preferences, or other parts of the Services from working correctly. MYOPL does not currently use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that practice changes, we will update this policy and provide any notice, choice, or consent required by law before enabling it.
3. Third Parties
We disclose information only as needed to operate the Services, at your direction, or for the other purposes described below:
- Service Providers: Providers support infrastructure and hosting, databases, content delivery, communications, email and SMS, push notifications, maps and location search, artificial-intelligence features, analytics, crash reporting, security, customer support, media storage and processing, and payment or subscription administration. They receive only the information reasonably needed to perform services for MYOPL and are expected to protect it consistently with their contracts and applicable law.
- Other Users and the Public: We display profile information, ratings, organization information, public content, posts, reactions, follows, and other activity to the audience indicated by the feature and your settings. People who receive content may save or reshare it outside MYOPL. Direct messages are shared with their participants; organization and event information is shared with the users or administrators involved.
- Your Direction and Connected Services: We disclose information when you ask us to invite a contact, share content, connect a store purchase, open a third-party link, communicate with an organization, or otherwise direct an integration. The receiving service's privacy policy governs its independent processing.
- Safety, Legal, and Compliance: We may preserve, review, or disclose information when reasonably necessary to enforce our rules; detect or investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or illegal activity; protect users, StreetLoc Inc., or the public; respond to valid legal process; or meet legal and regulatory obligations. If you report content or conduct, information about the report may be shared as needed to investigate and respond while seeking to protect the reporter where appropriate.
- Aggregate or De-identified Information: We may use and disclose information that has been aggregated or de-identified so it cannot reasonably identify you, including participation, usage, service-performance, and community statistics.
- Business Transfers: Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction. Any successor will be required to handle personal information consistently with applicable law and the commitments in effect at the time of transfer.
- Third-Party Links: MYOPL may link to websites and services we do not control. Visiting or using them is subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
4. Controlling Your Personal Data
You can edit applicable profile fields, manage device permissions, control who may add you to supported MYOPL communities, block users, and choose the audience offered by a posting or messaging feature. Information you post publicly can identify you and may be copied or reshared by others. Messages are private only to the extent that participants keep them private. We may access or preserve content when needed to deliver the Services, respond to reports, enforce our rules, protect safety and security, or comply with law.
Data Security & Encryption
We use industry-standard security measures to protect the personal information submitted to us. All direct messages, group chats, and data transmitted through MYOPL are securely encrypted in transit (using TLS/SSL) and encrypted at rest on our secure database servers to protect against unauthorized external access. Please note that MYOPL does not utilize End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) for messages. Retaining the ability to securely decrypt and review message data allows us to provide seamless cross-device syncing, enable platform-wide search, and importantly, gives our moderation team the ability to review flagged messages and maintain a safe, toxic-free environment for all sports leagues and community members.
5. Data Retention and Account Termination
You can request account deletion in the app or through our public account-deletion page. When deletion is completed, we delete or de-identify account information and user content unless retention is reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, financial records, or another purpose permitted by law. Match, score, and rating history may be anonymized and retained because removing one participant's competitive result could change other users' records. Courts, clubs, leagues, events, and other community records may remain after an administrator deletes an individual account. Residual copies may remain in protected backups until those backups expire under our retention schedule.
6. Children
MYOPL is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Although use of MYOPL by children is unlikely, if you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us here. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without parental consent, we take steps to remove such information and terminate the child's account.
7. Security
We use various safeguards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and after we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or via mobile device, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

9. Modifications to This Privacy Policy
We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will govern our processing of information and will be located here. We may introduce additional social, publishing, discovery, recommendation, or advertising features. Before using personal information for a materially new purpose, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notice, choice, or consent required by applicable law. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by email, in-product notice, or another appropriate method before or when the changes take effect.
10. US: Your Privacy Rights
MYOPL does not sell personal information or currently use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information and do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. If these practices change, we will update this notice and provide legally required rights and controls before the change takes effect.
MYOPL collects various categories of personal information when you use MYOPL, including identifiers, commercial information, internet or other electronic network or device activity information, geolocation data, and professional information.
A more detailed description of the information MYOPL collects and how we use it is provided above in Section 1 (Information We Collect and How We Use It). Section 3 (Third Parties) describes the categories of third parties with whom we share personal information, and what information may be shared under different circumstances.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information; limit certain uses or disclosures; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision about a request. To exercise a request, use our contact page or email dataprotection@myopl.net. We may verify your identity and may deny or limit a request where permitted by law.
11. European Residents: Your Privacy Rights and International Data Transfer
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have rights to access, correct, update, delete, restrict, object to processing of, or request portability of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. You can exercise a request using the contact information in Section 8.
Similarly, if we have collected and processed your personal information with your consent, then you can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.
MYOPL provides controls to view or change applicable profile information. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in those messages. Administrative, security, legal, and transactional messages may still be sent. Questions about our processing can be submitted using the contact information in Section 8.
For European Residents, please note that the personal information we obtain from or about you may be transferred, processed, and stored outside of the EEA, United Kingdom or Switzerland for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including in the United States of America.
Where required for an international transfer, we use an approved legal mechanism and appropriate safeguards, which may include adequacy decisions, contractual protections, or other mechanisms recognized by applicable law. Contact us if you would like more information about safeguards relevant to your information.
For European Residents, our legal basis for collecting and using the information described above will depend on the specific information concerned and the context in which we collect it. We, however, will normally collect personal information from you only where we have your consent to do so, where we need the personal information to perform a contract with you, or where the processing is in our legitimate interests and not overridden by your data protection interests or fundamental rights and freedoms. In some cases, we may also have a legal obligation to collect personal information from you or may otherwise need the personal information to protect your vital interests or those of another person (for instance, to prevent, investigate, or identify possible wrongdoing in connection with MYOPL or to comply with legal obligations). If we ask you to provide personal information to comply with a legal requirement or to perform a contract with you, we will make this clear at the relevant time and advise you whether the provision of your personal information is mandatory or not (as well as of the possible consequences if you do not provide your personal information).
If we collect and use your personal information in reliance on our legitimate interests (or those of any third party), this interest will typically be to operate our Services, communicate with you in relation to our Services, or for our other legitimate commercial interests, for instance, when responding to your queries, to analyze and improve our platform, engage in marketing, or for the purposes of detecting or preventing fraud.
If you have questions about or need further information concerning the legal basis on which we collect and use your personal information, please contact us at the address listed above in Section 8 (Contact Information).
12. Terms and Conditions
Our Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the MYOPL platform and are incorporated into this Privacy Policy by reference. By using the MYOPL platform, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by our Terms and Conditions.
