What Reliability Actually Means
Reliability is not a measure of sportsmanship, and it does not guarantee who will win the next point. It is a direct, mathematical measure of the confirmed evidence supporting a rating—giving you a clear signal of how established a player’s skill level really is.
How to Build Stronger Evidence
- Verify matches promptly: Confirm game results quickly to keep telemetry fresh and accurate.
- Play diverse opponents: Competing against a variety of players provides broader, higher-quality calibration data.
- Ensure accurate rosters: Record exact participants and partnerships for every game.
- Separate match contexts: Keep singles and doubles play distinct—each format develops its own independent rating and evidence profile.
